A great article about how the College of Arts & Media and CU Denver partners with the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Also, mentions faculty creators/collaborators/curators Michelle Carpenter and Bryan Leister.

CU Denver partners with the city to create new gallery–Michael Davidson
December 8, 2016
Next Stage Collaborative, an interactive gallery presented in partnership by CU Denver and Denver Arts & Venues. Chancellor Horrell’s deep civic connections are paying off for CAM. Through Denver Arts & Venues’ Next Stage NOW program, CU Denver is reimagining a space in the Denver Performing Arts Complex Galleria. With help from the College of Architecture and Planning’s Design/Build program, CAM is establishing an interactive digital media presence. Travis Vermilye and Michelle Carpenter installed this and are doing the initial curation. Bryan Leister will take over the curatorial duties next semester. This was made possible with support from Denver Arts & Venues, the College of Arts & Media and Chancellor Horrell. CAM student docents from the College of Arts & Media Student Agency will be on hand to answer questions and assure that the public that pass through the Galleria get an evocative and comelling glimpse of CAM’s creative output. Digital Design is taking the lead on this, but it is envisioned that ways will be explored to include other parts of visual arts, as well as Film/TV and MEIS.
Congratulations to the following faculty members!
