by I was very fortunate to be in the audience for a special screening of Mitch Dickman's (CAM alum, '05) new documentary, Rolling Papers. Having seen his excellent earlier film, Hanna Ranch, I was equally impressed with this new release. Coming from a family who worked on the production end of the newspaper business, I also worked several summers at the local newspaper. This film (to me) showed the journalistic end (in a highly visceral way) of how an important story was covered--as much as the actual topic (the cannabis industry/culture in Colorado). The documentary approach of how the Denver Post appointed an editor and is covering the legalization of marijuana was so real and evocative that it took me back to my days working in the mail room of the Daily Courier News and the smells of lead, ink and paper. https://instagram.com/rollingpaperdoc/ https://www.facebook.com/rollingpapersfilm?ref=hl
